5 day Assisted Yoga Practice, Gweek, Cornwall
Accommodation is available at the Chapel for 3 people this week!
These small group Practice intensives, are held at Lucy's Yoga Space, in Gweek, Cornwall (maximum 6 participants.) All levels of student are welcome, but not complete beginners, who will need to attend an introductory course first.
Students will receive verbal and physical adjustment and Lucy will manage the practice content of each individual, providing an attentive and informative approach with an attention to detail and working with respect to the anatomical possibilities for each person.
This superb, breath based practice, can be tailored to meet the needs of all practitioners, with appropriate variations and modifications.
Most importantly, Yoga is enjoyable, we feel good afterwards, the body benefits from movement and breath, and we become stronger, more flexible and a renewed sense of connection to the body. Lucy Crawford Scott leads the morning Ashtanga Practice and Caroline Tautz works individually along side Lucy, bringing sensitive and intelligent hands on adjustment. Lucy and Caroline work together to hold a safe, relaxed and creative Yoga Practice environment.
We will begin the morning with a short led explorative journey, that brings us into sensing, feeling and connection to the bodies language. “Body Listening”…
The morning explorations will be led by both Lucy Crawford Scott and Caroline Tautz.
Following this, we will begin the Traditional Asana practice.
(This is a Self Practice workshop).
Our intention is to have fun and to enjoy the Practice of Yoga. We aim to meet the individual and unique needs of the individuals attending this Workshop, We observe each persons use of the body and movement patterns, and then offer other possibilites, inform the body of a more supportive positioning of bones, bringing balance to the joints and and freedom from pain in Yoga Asana. We aim to educate and inform!
Lucy & Caroline offer an intelligent, sensitive and receptive approach to this demanding method of Yoga Practice.Lucy will proffer additional Asana, targeting areas of the body that need the focus, whilst paying attention to balancing the bones, working with the joints and muscles for correct and supported Asana for a balanced and safe practice.
ACCOMMODATION
All accommodation is self-booked. You can book a room at Gods Own Villa itself, or there are many other options. Do make sure that you book an A/C room –if being too hot at night will interfere with your ability to sleep!

TRAVEL
Flights to Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) and then an airport taxi to Kovalam.
It is preferable to ask your accommodation to send a driver, to collect you from the airport. There will then be a driver holding a sign with your name on it. This helps to avoid over inflated taxi fares!
VISA
ENTRY INTO INDIA: You need to get a VISA to enter the Country.
You can usually do this online, (unless this has changed due to Covid19).
ARRIVAL FORMS
You need to provide the address of the place you have booked to stay at, on the customs arrival forms, when entering India. An address is also useful to give an airport taxi driver if you have not booked a pick up with your Hotel / accommodation
Once you arrive, enjoy the SUN, SAND and SEA and Yoga will await you!

Lucy runs small practice development weeks at the Chapel in Gweek, Cornwall, Teacher Trainings and Workshops in the UK and overseas. Lucy’s teaching focuses on the body, and a deeper connection into the tissues using anatomical knowledge to inform the body of the movements required in Asana. Lucy pays attention to balancing the bones, working with the joints and muscles for correctly supported Asana for balanced and safe practice.
Lucy only uses the traditional counted method when teaching led classes, but is happy to inform the specific count for Asana, in response to student interest. Lucy offers intentional and clear Asana adjustment, and additional stretches and strength work, to develop attention to specific areas of the body.
